The last orchestral concert of Ensemble Opera Diversa this year emphasizes the ensemble's special relationship with the Slovak violin virtuoso Milan Paľa, who lives in Brno. This time, Diversa's long-term collaboration with the violinist is emphasized not only in terms of interpretation, but also authorship – the opening piece of the concert is the world premiere of the violin concerto Ossth directly from the pen of Milan Paľa, making the evening even more unique. The performer's long-term effort to present the work of the Ukrainian-Israeli composer Valentin Bibik is prescribed in the program with the introduction of the Viola Concerto No. 1. The Double Concerto project must therefore be seen not only as a concert culmination of the year when the ensemble commemorates twenty years since its official foundation, but also as a celebration Paľ's interpretive effort. As a certain instrumental intermezzo, the Czech premiere of Entr'acte by the American composer Caroline Shaw, winner of the Pulitzer Prize and Grammy Awards, will be heard at the concert. The entire evening will be led by Slovak conductor Marián Lejava, who is resuming cooperation with the ensemble after a one-year hiatus.
