The human species is part of the living world inhabiting planet Earth. And it has one common evolutionary basis with all life – DNA. It is the carrier of all information about us and our characteristics, formed on the basis of heredity and the development of the changing characteristics of the organisms of our ancestors. Based on natural selection, when the strongest and most viable prevails within life, our DNA also changes and acquires new properties. We often speak exaggeratedly about what we have or don't have in DNA, when in the transferred meaning of this word we attribute DNA to inanimate things, phenomena and concepts. In the same way, the choreographers Uladzimir Ivanou and Markéta Pimek Habalová were inspired by the "DNA of the Theater World Brno festival", which can exaggerately transmit the cultural genomes of our society or information about the topics that the current year of the festival deals with. And so, in three parts of the choreography called DNA, to the music of the composer Murcof, we will fly through the ages encoded in our double helix and become witnesses of evolution, this uninfluenced and spontaneous process of the biosphere.
