The origins of European theater are inextricably linked to the choir. His tasks and the layers he created were varied and important. A fundamental step and change in the development of the theater was the selection of one actor who entered into a dialogue with the choir. Aeschylus later added a second to the first actor, Sophocles a third. Gradually, more and more were separated from the choir, and the role of the choir itself diminished. This is how the history of the theater progressed. After more than 2,500 years, everyone eventually separated from the choir and the choir ceased to exist. In theatrical form, but also in terms of the structure of society. In the Choir production, the individual is integrated back into the choir. The choir is being formed again. The individual ceases to be for a little while, he is lost. And so, between and together with other individuals, he can again ask (with words, rhythm, movement, object) who he is and what place he has in the choir.
The performers are students of the Physical Theater Studio of DF JAMU. Each of them is different, has a different interest, goal, circumstances. Among them are budding authors, directors, actors, dancers, therapists. It is not a homogenous, unambiguously graspable and nameable group of actors or musicians, for example. And that is why they become an ideal choir, a small sample of society.
