The young and internationally already very successful conductor Jiří Rožeň will join this year's thematic sub-circle of conductors performing as instrumentalists. Together with the pianist Pavel Voráček, they will perform the four-hand symphonic poems of Richard III. Bedřich Smetana and Vodník by Antonín Dvořák and two compositions by Gustav Mahler: on the one hand, the famous Adagietto from Symphony No. 5 and with the soprano Victoria Khoroshunová the 4th movement of Mahler's Symphony No. 4, entitled Das himmlische Leben.
