The roots of Hungarian gypsy music
The ancient roots of Hungarian gypsy music retain their strength and naturalness to this day, mainly thanks to virtuosos such as Marek Balog, who can cheer and cry, sing and anger his violin. His idols are legends of classical violin playing, such as Jascha Heifetz, Leonid Kogan or David Oistrach, he is also close to jazz and swing, he also deals with composition and arrangements. In the inspiring environment of the Telč Manor, whose history dates back to the 15th century, he will perform in a perfectly coordinated duo with pianist Drahoslav Bang.
