Les Musiciens de Saint-Julien can breathe new life into traditional concerts. Their musical visit to the Celtic lands, The Road to Kilkenny, Ireland's "Marble City", combines sophisticated intellectual compositions with playful songs in Gaelic and Irish Baroque dances. Echoes of tumultuous history can also be heard in the music full of island poetry. François Lazarevitch returned to the texts and collections of the 17th and 18th centuries and selected lullabies, songs by itinerant singers and songs celebrating the beauty of nature. When we add the personal charm of this phenomenal flutist, an exceptional concert experience is guaranteed.
