Screening of the first Czechoslovak feature film Saint Wenceslas with live music Musical accompaniment to the unique silent film St. Wenceslas director Jan Stanislav Kolár from 1930 is selected from monuments the period of the Middle Ages linked to the Saint Wenceslas legend; in the 1100th anniversary of the beginning of the reign of Prince Wenceslaus we will recall the roots of the Czech musical tradition through choral music sentences, songs or motets from Czech sources in honor of St. Wenceslas and St. Ludmila.
