Wouter Verschuren / bassoon, dulcian
Kathryn Cok / harpsichord

Sweet maple wood
Renaissance music lovers enjoyed the velvety deep tones of an instrument called the dulcian. He was the direct predecessor of the historical bassoons, whose charm fell to the excellent performer and sought-after pedagogue of the Royal Conservatories in The Hague and London, Wouter Verschuren. Specializing in the interpretation and research of 16th and 17th century music, his main goal is to rediscover the forgotten repertoire for his favorite instruments. His partner on stage and in life is the excellent harpsichordist Kathryn Cok, a respected professor at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.

Concert in cooperation with JAMU and the ERASMUS+ program.
