Slovak solo singer, composer, lyricist and guitarist. This is Katarina Knechtová, whom many know from her work in the band Peha. She ended her collaboration with her in 2008. Until 1997, she worked as a vocalist in the Prešov group IMT Smile. In 1999, she won the Discovery of the Year award with the Peha group. In 2001, she received the Aurel award in the category of best female singer. For her successful work on the Slovak music scene, in 2005 she again received the Aurela statuette in the category of best female singer. In 2007, she won the OTO poll for the best female singer of 2006.
