Alfred Habermann is a student of the Faculty of Music and Dance of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in the organ class of prof. Jaroslav Tůma. In the academic year 2021/2022, he studied at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart in the class of prof. Nathan Laube. Since 2019, he has also been playing the harpsichord at MgA. Edita Keglerová at the Prague Conservatory. In the years 2013-2019 he studied with prof. Josef Popelka at the organ department of the Prague Conservatory. In 2022, he won the second prize at the international organ competition in Jurmala, Latvia. He regularly participates in master classes, which he completed with, for example, Wolfgang Zerer or Damian Peretti. He has performed, for example, with the Košice State Philharmonic, at the International Organ Festival in Užhorod, Vamberice, Terezín, at the Orlicko-Kladské Organ Festival or at the Haydn Music Festival and the Bach for All Festival. For Czech Radio, he recorded compositions by baroque composers J. C. F. Fischer and J. P. Sweelinck. He works as an organist in Luky nad Jihlavou and Vysoké Studnice, where he comes from. At the same time, he also works as a teacher at the ZUŠ Jan Hanuš in Prague.
