Music Marathon Brno 2022 I Lukáš Dvořák

A young and talented organist. We are talking about Lukáš Dvořák, a graduate of the Prague Conservatory in the field of organ playing, which he studied with Jan Kalfus. Here he also devoted himself to playing the piano under the guidance of Jana Macharáčková. He is currently continuing his organ studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in the class of Pavel Černý, and at the same time he started studying conducting at the Prague Conservatory. In the past academic year, he studied as part of an internship abroad at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen under the direction of organist Monika Melcová. In the past, he participated several times in shows of the best students of conservatories (Brno, Kroměříž, Prague). He also regularly completes his education abroad (USA, Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, France, Germany). In 2019, together with the Castle Guard Music Orchestra and the Police of the Czech Republic, he accompanied the national pilgrimage to St. Agnes in Rome and the Vatican with the participation of thousands of pilgrims. He also regularly cooperates with ensembles such as the Prague 8 Symphony Orchestra, the String Orchestra of the Prague Conservatory or the Collegium hortense and Canticorum iubilo choirs. Acts as II. organist at the Royal Collegiate Chapter in Prague's Vyšehrad and at the same time at St. Nicholas in Humpolec.
