Music Marathon Brno 2022 I René Souček trio

The frontman of the trio, René Souček, is a singer-songwriter originally from Frýdek-Místek, who plays original works on guitar and ukulele. The lyrics have autobiographical elements. Their point entertains the audience in a cheerful mood, but it can also significantly hit the heart in slower songs. He regularly participates in concerts and festivals such as Colors of Ostrava, Cały Poznań Ukulele in Poland and Fest Dobré Bohunice in Slovakia. In Prague's Únětice, they participate in the Czech Ukulele Festival every year, where they teach visitors how to play the ukulele in addition to the performance. Percussionist Marek Hlosta has accompanied him on stage for less than 10 years. With his cajon and djembe, he underlines René's more rhythmic pieces, and in more subtle songs he draws the contours with his second voice. Suddenly, the excellent double bass player Petr Piny Pinkas is also a guest, and René's formation takes the form of a trio in places. In 2013, he released his debut album "Fajne-Mjesto", in 2017 his second album "Sto tík slov" was released.
