The recital by husband and wife Ivana and Marek Švestková, members of the Brno Philharmonic, will offer compositions for solo harp, solo double bass and duo of both instruments. The program is composed of music from the 18th century to the present day, with special attention paid to the works of Czech composers. Harp and double bass are not a very common instrument combination. Ivana and Marek Švestková's recital will, however, show that their "landscapes" can be very close. The name of the concert was inspired by the opening number of the program: the concert composition for solo harp, Near Landscape, by the contemporary Czech composer Pavel Trojan, composed for the Prague Harpa 2016 competition.
