BERGER Convergence I
NONO La lontananza nostalgica utopica futura
Tereza Horáková violin
Sarah Jedličková electronics
The young violinist Tereza Horáková has been interested in interpreting contemporary music since childhood and has already achieved considerable success in this direction. At his recital, he will present two monuments of violin literature: Roman Berger's Convergence I for solo violin and La lontananza nostalgica utopica futura for violin and an eight-track sound recording by Luigi Nono. For both authors, the emphasis on the ethical sound of the musical work and the generous conception of the composition was common, even though their music sounds different. The confrontation of two great works and creators in one evening offers an extraordinary experience.
