In the pace and changeability of today's world, sooner or later, an essential desire to seek and find certainties will be heard in each of us - in life, in art, in everyday life... The concert we want to invite you to, which will take place during Advent, such a certainty offers.
Jiří Pavlica and Hradišťan have been an integral part of our musical culture for several decades, they perform on our and foreign stages and are always a guarantee of high artistic quality, inventive and varied dramaturgy. Also, their art and ability to conduct dialogues with musicians of various genres and discover new worlds for themselves and the listeners are completely unmistakable.
A joint program with the Kantiléna children's choir and the Brno Philharmonic under the baton of conductor Jakub Klecker will also be carried out in this spirit. There will be not only a selection of the best from the Hradišťan repertoire, but also the premiere of new compositions by Jiří Pavlica, whose work ranges across the musical spectrum - from alternative music (which very often comes from the roots of Moravian music) to contemporary serious music. And since during the evening we will also remember his life anniversary, there is an opportunity for a surprise in the form of a performance by a young talented guest who is very close to the birthday boy.
