Dinner for Magdalena Dobromila Rettig (1785-1945). Just as Smetana cooked Czech music, Rettigová composed Czech cuisine.
The concert will feature the unique Dinner by Ondřej Adámek, who lives in France, and then folk songs and Beatles songs in transcriptions by the Italian composer Luciano Berio. The concert will conclude with the world premiere of Ian Mikyska’s Jednohubky.
