A mysterious gloomy house in seclusion somewhere outside the city near a cemetery. Here lives the rather peculiar Addams family, whose members delight in creepy and morbid humor. Their favorite color is black and they consider death to be the most beautiful thing in life. However, the Addams family's day-to-day terrifying routine changes drastically when young Wednesday brings her new friend Lucas. What more? Lucas's parents are also scheduled to visit this demonic household, and the love-struck Wednesday demands that her relatives behave normally. Like normal people - that is, completely different from what they are used to. At a dinner together, where there are a lot of awkward exits, Wednesday finally, in order to calm the situation, announces that she and Lucas are getting married, which only really shakes everyone...
