The Pardubice Theater presented its musical adaptation of Karel Čapek's well-known drama about the desire for eternal youth in October 2022. One hundred years earlier, the well-known story of the singer Emilie Marta takes place, who thanks to the elixir of youth has already lived an unnaturally long time. The songs for the original musical about what happens when we don't respect the laws of nature were written by one of today's best-known author couples - Ondřej Soukup and Gabriela Osvaldová - and Petra Janečková was shortlisted for the 2023 Thalia Award for the lead role.
