A quartet of a leading saxophonist, characterized by energy, bravura technique and imaginative improvisation. The music of this ensemble, in which top musicians work, could be described as post Coltrane-bop. The foursome has 10 self-titled albums, 5 of them in collaboration with the American drummer Gene Jackson.
