Wolf Lost In The Poem (Pavel Koudelka + Jan Žamboch)

The wolf doesn't find peace until it digs its claws in, until it spreads through its throat into the fog the news of an encounter with the splendours, craziness, horrors and beauties that cursed its poetic worlds... During live concerts, it uses those songs to break through the darkness to the light...

CD Wolf Lost In the Poem - Nepřiputáný was nominated for the Anděl award in the folk category for 2017. Currently, Jan Žamboch is preparing a continuation of the project, which will be dedicated to female poets from the Czech Republic. This time he is working on it with guests, e.g. Pavel Koudelka /DUNAJ/ and others. The album called Indigem was released in the spring of 2024.

Kyšperský + Háblová

Poetrycore is a joint project of musician, composer, producer and collaborator of our radio Martin Kyšperský and poet and architect Anna Beata Háblová. They were both guests of the program Jak vaj se ploví on January 17, 2024, and you can now listen to the program from the recording.

Martin Kyšperský and Anna Beata Háblová sometimes perform as Genius & Genius, but they recorded their Poetrycore album as Kyšperský + Háblová. It was supposed to come out before the end of 2023, but in the end it was delayed and moved to the first months of 2024.

The two artists met for the first time at the Beseda u bigbítu festival. The initiator of the joint project was Martin. Anna Beata says: "At first, I thought that it was just a forum to make a noise. But for some reason it took off and quickly took off. We started cooperating, communicating and creating very intensively, and it makes us very happy. The key word in our cooperation is humor."

The decision to use our own names instead of the original Genius and Genius brand was a natural one: “We found that using our names took a bit more time. Someone can imagine perhaps not what we are doing, but who is doing it, and then maybe even more curious. With the band Genius and Genius, it would take a lot of years for someone to fix it."

Martin reveals more about the division of activities between the two protagonists: "In my case, the greater part is the authorship of the music and the arrangement of the song. And I dig into the texts that Anička wears as a whole. They are often rap songs, so there is a huge amount of text. For example, I have trouble remembering one song at concerts, but Anička can handle the whole concert. He raps, writes the words and sometimes carries the melodies and plays the keyboard. And those are the greatest hits of the record."
