You're incredible, I got shivers down my spine." teepee tries to create an open and safer space during its concerts, a parallel world in which you can stop for a while and let everything flow. A space where any form of difference is accepted, a place where you can discover the secrets hidden deep within you.
Captivating melodies and dreamy vocals capture the connection between Tereza Lavička-Sladká and Miroslav Patočka. The pair founded the dream-pop project teepee in 2015 and fairly soon caught the attention of the Czech independent music scene. Over time, they enriched their sound with roots in indie-folk with electronic and pop elements, which underlined the involvement of new teammates - drummer and percussionist Tonda Procházka and multi-instrumentalist Prokop Korb.
Tereza and Miroslav are still the main authors of all the songs and the themes of their lyrics reflect a wide range of social and environmental issues as well as personal confessions and reflections. TeePee works with topics such as social injustice, gender equality or finding self-confidence. But he is not afraid to process even the most painful life experiences. Their concerts are therefore a very intimate and emotional experience.
