"Indivisible you hold the world inside. You're incredible, I got shivers down my spine." teepee tries to create an open and safer space during its concerts, a parallel world in which you can stop for a while and let everything flow. A space where any form of difference is accepted, a place where you can discover the secrets hidden deep within you.
Captivating melodies and dreamy vocals capture the connection between Tereza Lavička-Sladká and Miroslav Patočka. The pair founded the dream-pop project teepee in 2015 and fairly soon caught the attention of the Czech independent music scene. Over time, they enriched their sound with roots in indie-folk with electronic and pop elements, which underlined the involvement of new teammates - drummer and percussionist Tonda Procházka and multi-instrumentalist Prokop Korb.
Tereza and Miroslav are still the main authors of all the songs and the themes of their lyrics reflect a wide range of social and environmental issues as well as personal confessions and reflections. TeePee works with topics such as social injustice, gender equality or finding self-confidence. But he is not afraid to process even the most painful life experiences. Their concerts are therefore a very intimate and emotional experience.
Meta & the noises
Music, emotion, authenticity. That's meta & the noises - Michaela Radová, a 21-year-old singer, songwriter and lyricist who creates her own compositions in the spirit of indie pop, who released her debut album Well...It's Been Emotional in November last year. It was created in collaboration with producer Martin Vlček and through honest, intimate lyrics it touches on the whole palette of emotions, explores intense forms of feelings and their lack, debates about relationships, inner no/freedom, experiences the shattering of naive ideas, but at the same time abounds in hope and youthful lightness. The songs of meta & the noises will absorb you with melodies combining melancholy with hope, in her songs you can hear inspiration from Lana Del Rey, Marina, Kate Nash or Regina Spektor.
