"Minuty" is a band that inextricably belongs to Alterna and Brno.
Their "lightness of being", improvisation and joy of ascension will permeate you. You will want to dance wildly, scream with joy, cry with emotion and merge with nature and simply be.
The strength of the band lies mainly in live energetic concerts, which are largely made up of improvisation. They combine genres such as soul, groove, jazz, blues, funky or world music. And because, as they say, they are not overgrown with moss, they are also open to the influences of contemporary music.
Minuty will bring songs from their latest album Les to Alterna. There will also be songs from previous albums and unreleased material will also be heard. So we have something to look forward to!
The band consists of a trio of acclaimed musicians; singer, guitarist and songwriter Zdeněk Bína, bassist and court lyricist of the band Fredrik Janáček and exceptional drummer Dano Šoltis.
-123min were previously active in the years 1996 – 2009, released five albums and received the Anděl award for Discovery of the Year in 1999. They played at leading Czech festivals, sold out clubs here and in Slovakia. As one of the few domestic bands, they also celebrated success abroad, where they played around two hundred concerts in clubs and festivals (Holland, Poland, France, USA or England...).
