Plum Dumplings
A special concept of alternative rock with punk rawness and chanson nobility. The last album Jiný místo was recorded by the band in collaboration with producer Tomáš Neuwerth (An Animal Named Podzim, Kittchen, Kafka band...) and, unlike the debut L'épitaphe des papillons, it is entirely in Czech. But the existential and emotional world remained burdensome and, thanks to the indisputable literary quality of the texts, extremely suggestive.
Control
Kontrolla was originally created as an orthodox alternative group, based on rhythms - Zdenek Smetana's effected bass guitar and Hans Machala's drums complemented by a melodic line of keyboards and the operatic singing of Marek Olbrzymek and the rock "shouting" of Olaf Horák. Over the years there was a transformation into essentially a garage rock riff band with two to three guitars.
