WOMEN
The Croatian trio ZEN breaks down gender stereotypes and through vocal harmonization presents a progressive load of post-rock with the usual coordinates from shoegaze, through math-rock, vintage synthwave to experimental electronics. Foreign music critics find references to bands such as Spacemen 3, My Bloody Valentine and The Cure in their work.
In 2021, they released two new singles, Uroni and Krizantema, which foreshadow their upcoming fourth album. ŽEN was formed in 2010 in Zagreb, recorded three albums, performed at several major European festivals (including our Colors of Ostrava) and in clubs from the Baltic to the Atlantic.
