NEVER SOL
Synthesizers full of melancholy, dream melodies drowned in tons of reverb and full but fragile velvet vocals. Never Sol has released two studio albums Chamaleo (2018) and Under Quiet (2013). In 2014, her debut album was released in a worldwide reissue under the German experimental label Denovali Records. In recent years, Never Sol has attended the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy in Tokyo, gives concerts with Tomáš Dvořák's electro-acoustic project Floex and focuses on composition and sound design for contemporary dance performances and performances (Spitfire Company, Markéta Vacovská, TYhle, Dot 504).
In Alterna, Sára Vondrášková will play an acoustic solo set with a piano.
STRACHKVAS
The core of the Ostrava producer Strachkvas, now based in Brno, is club music, which he deconstructs into mere fragments. Rather than genre elements, he is interested in rhythmics, which for him becomes material for further composition on an imaginary white screen open for an audiovisual experiment. He released his previous EP Break-in on the Gin & Platonic label. For the distribution of three new tracks called Blind Worm Variations, he chose the foreign platform World Canvas spread in a disciplinary overlapping online fluid between London and Helsinki.
