The Slovakian Circle in Brno cordially invites you all to a meeting at the dulcimer in February. The Slovak Circle in Brno is one of the oldest folklore associations in the Czech Republic. It was founded as early as 1908 as a free association of students from Moravian Slovácko, and even today, its core consists of young people coming to Brno for their studies. The ballet evening presents the works of leading contemporary choreographers Jiří Kylián and Nach Duat. The title Vigil moves Ballet NdB to a higher European level again and promises the audience a breathtaking experience of the movement genius of the creators and the extraordinary interpretation of our dancers.

For fans of this genre, we have an amazing triumvirate of bands that will get your blood pumping and out of your chair right in front of the stage! The fresh Brno rock-metal band Decameron was founded in 2023 and plays mainly its own work + some covers. The band does not like to be boxed into a specific genre, but the female vocals of the singer Petra gently indicate which direction they are looking and we are very grateful for that. The band released their first EP in 2024 and will present their best in Melodka.

Only the old teacher Benda, a lover of music, opens his door to them, only to find out that the strangers are closer than they might think.

301 on Melodka will christen their new single KORVÍN. 301: is a band from Brno that does not actually come from Brno. The music is a reflection of the rock of the sixties and nineties, garage music and offers strong choruses in a rock guise. The band sings in Czech and the lyrics are also in Czech. They will impress the listeners with their unconventionality and extensive cultural encyclopedia enriched with a little marmalade on their shoes.

Apartment number 4: The Šumper band Byt number 4 released their debut album Four Walls in May 2024. The group took the record to the legendary festival HradyCZ. The group gained media attention with their first single I Don't Know. Subsequently, she scored points in the talent competitions Discovery of the Year on radio Haná or Šance Muzikus, and her singles repeatedly appeared in the rotation of radio RockZone 105.9.
