Courtesans from 25th Avenue formed in 1989 and quickly gained attention and status as a cult club band of the 90s with their energetic concerts. They were the first Czech band after the Velvet Revolution to win the Marlboro Rock-In competition, which opened the door to their first album with a major label. PROGRES 2 – legendary rock group from Brno. It was founded in 1968 under the original name The Progress Organization by musicians Zdeněk Kluka and Pavel Váně. Their very first LP - The Progress Organization - Barnodaj - became the record of 1972 according to Melodie magazine critics. They already released their second LP - Mowglí - under the group's "normalized" name - Barnodaj. In the times of the most rigid normalization, they stopped working for several years. They revived it under the new name PROGRES 2 in 1978, when for the first time they presented the experimental audiovisual project Dialogue with the Universe (the first Czechoslovak rock opera). He regularly performs with prominent domestic and foreign orchestras, collaborates with leading Czech pianists, and in 2020 founded the successful piano trio The Trio. In 2011 he was invited by Gidon Kremer to the Kammermusikfest in Lockenhaus, in 2021 he opened Smetana's Litomyšl as a soloist, in 2024 he was a soloist in the New Year's concert of the Czech Philharmonic. In 2014, he recorded his debut album Violino Solo. Many of his concerts were filmed by Czech Television, Czech Radio or German ARD. He performs in the audiovisual shows Vivaldianno and iMucha. He teaches at the Prague Conservatory and the University of Ostrava. He plays the Joseph Gagliano 1774 Italian instrument.

In November 2021, the American writer Noah Gordon died at the age of 95. He entered the history of world literature primarily with his trilogy The Cole Dynasty, which deals with the history of medicine in great detail and knowledge. The most famous is probably the very first volume, the novel in our country known as Ranhojič from 1987 (it was followed by free sequels The Shaman (1992) and The Doctor (1995)). According to Ranhojic, a globally successful German film starring Tom Payne and Ben Kingsley was also shot in 2013.

Musicians from Prešov cook Slovak folk roots, folk tenderness and rock ferocity in one pot. The Slovak band HRDZA is known for its original songs, in which it draws on the Slovak musical tradition. The Prešov group HRDZA (SK) has been active on the world music scene since 1999. HRDZA is known for original songs such as 'Taká sa mi pácí', 'Košieľočka' and 'Zábava', in which they draw on the Slovak musical tradition, but also with adaptations of folk songs, for example 'My Slovakia', 'My Fatherland', 'Štefan', 'Mám ja orech' and 'Horela Ľipka'. An integral part of the band are its singers.

The band Green Day Bros., which was formed in 2013, draws you into the world of the American punk megastar Green Day. Get ready for a cross-section of their greatest hits, played with the youthful drive and raw energy of the band's early years.
