The Zabásněni band touches the boundaries of language and culture by connecting Czech and German-language poetry with alternative music in an unusual set of instruments: el. guitar, clarinet, saxophone, double bass and drums. You can look forward to music texts by Antonín Sova, František Gellner, R. M. Rilke and others. The band released two singles in the summer, which complement it their album Perspective.

LEIN

Lein present a modern nu-metal cut with a fresh sound and strong energy. This six-member formation has already attracted attention with its debut EP Stack 1., which combines hard riffs with expressive melodies. They are currently working on the sequel to Stack 2., so you will also hear samples of the upcoming material at the concert. Come and let yourself be swept away by the energy and emotions that Lein certainly doesn't spare live!

BLACK ROW

Five-member band playing mainly nu-metal and alt-metal. He has released a series of EPs called "Nothing Is Real". However, the group is now entering a new era, in which it is currently preparing a new project, which will also be heard and celebrated in the MÚZ Cabinet. Among the listeners, the most popular tracks like "Circus", "Matador" or "BRAINDEAD" will be performed live, so the audience has something to look forward to!

FILTHY MINDS

Hardcore Brno/Bučovice. A band that has been working for 20 years. After five years of inactivity, the guys got back together. This year they will release two singles and a music video.

The pilot project of Music Lab - regular jam sessions connecting musicians not only from Brno. The goal is to play improve, find new contacts, and have fun! Every musician joining a performance will get 150 CZK for free at the bar!!! SAKOBI - project of fellow players from the band Vilém Spilka Quartet. Radek Zapadlo plays saxophone, Vilém Spilka in the band on Kontrabass and Martin Kleibl on BIcí.. they have been working in other ensembles for a long time and are closely connected to each other musically.

Come and play. Drums, keyboards, guitar and microphones will be on site. Bass combo too. We are happy to plug in and play the other instruments.

Veterans of the Czech independent scene in a new line-up and in top form. The core of the band, which for the past many years has been Václav Havelka and drummer Svačinka, is now complemented by Ivo Lorenc and Lukáš Palán.

Šternber punk'n'roll band from Kabinet Records. Czech lyrics, punk ferocity, singer-songwriter country vibe.

Already for the fifth time, you can experience the GALAVEČER of hard rock musicians from Brno and spend unforgettable moments with them in their company. The guests of this year and their special concerts will be performed by four excellent Brno bands Vanguard, Liquid Jesus, Alvarez Perez and Hefaistova Lyra. Each band will perform something special, just for this evening. And now the main thing! Only 50 of you can experience this parade, which was attended by 150 musicians from Brno last year! And not only can you experience this unique evening, but you can also win in a rich raffle donated by Brno bands. The journalistic legend and icon PETR KORÁL will once again accompany the entire evening.

Band of Heysek is a bunch of heyseks who compose and play their own animalistic, bluesy, raw dirty songs. The band was formed in 2015. All three musicians have known each other for a very long time and very well from various bands in Brno. They liked their zero concert at the Eurotrialog festival in Mikulov so much that they received an invitation to the next edition as well as an offer to precede the famous The Smokie in Ostrava (2015). Since then, they have been performing in clubs and festivals, especially in the Czech Republic, but also in Poland, Bosnia and Slovakia, including the famous BluesAlive (2017) or The Animals in Brno's SONO center (2018).

Lucie Třešňáková as Iveta Bartošová is preparing a concert tour. She looks like Iveta Bartošová, she sings like Iveta Bartošová, but she is a true copy of her named Lucie Třešňáková. Lovers of the multiple Zlatá Slavica Iveta Bartošová (†48) can look forward to the most famous hits ("Podobáš se lásce mý" or "Nekonečná") at several concerts that her double is preparing for January 2025.

Come to Melodka Free Night, where three bands full of fresh energy await you - post-punk, pop-rock and post-rock will get you going! Admission is voluntary, so don't sit at home and come! At the popular Nights, we always present mainly talented, certainly promising, and above all rising stars. We mostly look for them in Brno, but we are not afraid to go further afield. The January Melodka Free Night will present 3 bands and not one of them should escape your attention! Admission is free, but you will support the bands with a voluntary contribution.

Compositions by leading Brazilian composers (A.C. Jobim, Ernesto Nazareth, Pixinguinha) as well as original compositions by Jiří Levíček and Štěpán Holík will be heard. DIVO INSTITUTE Call it, for example, hypnotic blues snotty techno-punk. Some hear in it post-punk vibes with drum'n'bass rhythms, others rap on hillbilly country underwear. Divo Institute is the poetry of nomadic souls, banjo, guitar, beats and verses.

FVTVRE Echoes of the early San Diego sound with members of Sunshine, Clou, The Prostitutes and now on bass with Květák from 50m Znak. The mutual chemistry of these four charismatic figures creates a poisonous noise-punk cocktail.

PERSIAN FLAW Garage rock referring to bands like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club or The Jesus and the Mary Chain.

SCIENCE KILLER A guitar combining the influences of psychedelia, shoegaze/noise rock and blues. Repetitive rhythms with a basis in blues and kraut rock are supplemented by sometimes dreamy, sometimes noisy guitar and vocals lost in the echoes of endless reverb. Released on Kabinet Records.

Hetty Kate (AUS) – vocals, Libor Šmoldas (CZ) – guitar, Nick Haywood (AUS) – double bass Jazz singer Hetty Kate grew up in England and Australia and now lives in France. She has released nine albums and graced club and festival stages from New Zealand to New York. "Hetty is one of the best swing-jazz singers on the scene today," says American jazz critic Will Friedwald. In addition, Hetty is a true frontwoman and entertainer on stage and her natural musicality and vocal clarity ensure her voice is instantly recognisable.

An evening full of folklore with the adult musical group of the folklore ensemble Jánošíček. The ensemble celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2024 annual concert in the Mahen Theater. He mainly processes Slovak folklore, but he also knows the music of the Moravian regions. Come play and sing together.

The trio of British musicians formed in the East English city of Norwich in 2012 and quickly gained a reputation for their unique blend of jazz and electronica.

After a year Mutanti hladaj vydluški returns to the Kabinet and will play a steamy set from the latest album as well as some older stuff. The Mutants will be joined by Silver Rafael, a skilled young shooter, so we are clearly playing for a win that night.

JOSEF VAN WISSEM (NL) Jozef Van Wissem, a world-renowned lutenist and composer of dark music, brings his unique musical project to the Czech Republic. Renowned for his ability to blend ancient Renaissance and Baroque music with modern experimental elements, Van Wissem's credits include the soundtrack to Jim Jarmusch's vampire film Only Lovers Left Alive, which won the top prize at the Cannes Film Festival.

JAKUB ŠIMANSKý A representative of American primitivism in Eastern Europe. Half of the Brno-based duo Šimanský Niesner. His records are released on the Stoned to Death Records label. We couldn't have asked for a better opening to this dark acoustic-ambient evening.

Playing jazz standards and originals, the two have covered a lot of mileage together having extensively toured the UK, Europe.

Rahel Talts Quartet is a group that plays Estonian pianist and composer Rahel's original music. The band's music could mainly be described as energetic, acoustic, melodic jazz which has some influences from Baltic and Nordic folk melodies as well as from old traditional jazz and bebop, which makes the music unique and special. In short, it is a happy, melodic jazz with fun twists. 

In May 2023, Rahel Talts Quartet released their first album called "Greener Grass", which was very well received, and they’re starting to record a new album this November! The quartet have played tours and concerts in France, Germany, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and more. Latest tour was to Southeast Asia, which was very successful.

The band The Prostitutes returns to recording and touring after more than seven years. It will also arrive at Fléda!

Modern jazz-fusion quartet playing their own compositions. OKQ likes to groove, plays with joy and pure happiness. Oliver Kucharovič takes care of the bass , Jan Baroš plays the piano, Daniel Kéry serves the guitar. On drums is experienced Viktor Mudrak. We hope you enjoy the evening and music with us!

Ivo "Spyder" Křižan - americký muzikant českého původu hrál a spolupracoval s mnoha významnými hudebníky jako je Jeff Beck, Doug Lunn, Henri Bozzie, Mitch Mitchell a další. Dlouhá léta hrála v černošských klubových kapelách především v Kalifornii, ktšré pro něj byly ohromnou školou rythm blues. Spyder střídavě hudebně působí jak v zahraničí, tak na české hudební scéně, a jeho koncert slibuje nevšední hudební zážitek.

Tribute to the king of metal singing R.J.Dio with Jarda Barton (ex-Citron, Kreyson, Limetal). For the nine chimneys, for the nine winding roads, for the nine ancient times, the idea was born to restore the Krokus band in the Kingdom of Wallachia. And so it happened, although after nineteen concerts or nineteen beers, everything started to go towards only one card marked K. R.J. DIO became our metal king. Sheet music has been distributed and the band is launching the We Rock: DIO tribute band project. The birth of the band could date back to sometime in the 80s, but not with a long era of activity. Around 2010, the idea arose to revive this band with the help of the great rock personality Jaroslav Bartona (ex Citron), who is still active in it. After a few events where various covers were played, the decision was made to play only Ronnie James Dio's work. And so the band sails through the riffs and melodies of the bands Black Sabbath, Rainbow and Dio and is looking forward to more of his loyal fans!
