That's how theater critics of Brno's Čarodějka described it already during the first performance, and there is no reason to assume that it will be any different the second time around. The author duo John Dempsey (libretto and lyrics) and Dana P. Rowe (music) wrote the successful stage version of the work, which had its world premiere in 2000 at London's Drury Lane Theater and was based on the best traditions of the classic Broadway musical, which was also confirmed on domestic stage.

The band does not like to be boxed into a specific genre, but the female vocals of the singer Petra gently indicate which direction they are looking and we are very grateful for that. The band released their first EP in 2024 and will present their best in Melodka.

Courtesans from 25th Avenue formed in 1989 and quickly gained attention and status as a cult club band of the 90s with their energetic concerts. They were the first Czech band after the Velvet Revolution to win the Marlboro Rock-In competition, which opened the door to their first album with a major label. Since then, they have five studio albums to their credit, which went down in the history of Czech rock music. The Courtesans are synonymous with the unbridled energy and authentic rock performance that fans loved more than three decades ago.

PROGRES 2 – legendary rock group from Brno. It was founded in 1968 under the original name The Progress Organization by musicians Zdeněk Kluka and Pavel Váně. Their very first LP - The Progress Organization - Barnodaj - became the record of 1972 according to Melodie magazine critics. They already released their second LP - Mowglí - under the group's "normalized" name - Barnodaj. In the times of the most rigid normalization, they stopped working for several years. They revived it under the new name PROGRES 2 in 1978, when for the first time they presented the experimental audiovisual project Dialogue with the Universe (the first Czechoslovak rock opera). They continued in similar demanding projects on other albums (Třetí kniha junglí, Mozek, Zmena).

Berlin producer Lorenz Brunner aka RECONDITE is known for his unique blend of dark, crystal clear and melancholic melodic techno. It can be absolutely dense and gloomy in contrast with tender fragility. In his signature work, as well as in live performances, he perfectly builds a contemplative atmosphere and keeps the listener in constant tension, into which he relentlessly hammers sharp beats. Since 2012, RECONDITE has released nine consecutive albums on labels such as Innervisions, Ghostly International, Acid Test or Plangent Records, which is his own label. He uses field recording and synthesizers for his music. It works with Ableton's native Operator synthesizer, which combines analog and synthetic sounds.

After the sold-out Roxy in Prague and Fléda in Brno, he continues with a series of concerts in other Czech and Moravian cities. Vesna's concerts are known for their energy, mystical atmosphere and liveliness. The tour will also be enriched with a light show and a scene with folklore motifs. A concert that commemorates the life and work of one of the Czech kings of melody, Karel Svoboda. In the evening, the master's popular, musical and film melodies will be heard in original arrangements, instrumental and a cappella arrangements. His long-time colleague, pupil and court arranger Jiří Škorpík (4TET) and an orchestra of soloists in his original staging took care of the sensitive conception of the master's work. In alternations, the following will perform: Petr Kolář, Olga Lounová, Lenka Nová, Dušan Kollár (4TET), Ladislav Korbel, Karolina Otevřelová, Lukáš Janota, Vendula Příhodová, Peter Strenáčik, Markéta Amerighi, Gabriela Vermelho and others... The concert is accompanied by actor and presenter Dalibor Gondík.

The Slovak group HEX celebrates something that bands rarely manage to do. 35 years on the music scene, accompanied by numerous concerts, embodied in 10 studio, 2 selection and 2 live albums. Added to this are many compilations, endless unforgettable experiences, achievements and awards. He returns to the Czech Republic after many years on the occasion of the band's 35th anniversary and with their latest album "Kde je tu láska?", which was awarded the Anděl prize for the best Slovak album in 2023. The band decided to hold 2 special concerts under the name "HEX 35" on this occasion. Fast Food Orchestra will bring their typical mix of reggae, dancehall, ragga, rocksteady, punk, hip-hop, pop or breakbeat to Fléda.

Since forming only a few years ago, Only The Poets have been painting a story of success as an up and coming band, one definitely worth keeping an eye and ear out for. Formed and based in Reading, England, Only The Poets showcases the charisma and dedication of Tommy Longhurst (lead vocals, guitar), Andy (Roo) Burge (bass, vocals), Clem Cherry (guitar, vocals), and Marcus Yates (drums, vocals).
